Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of developmental human resource management practices(D-HRMPs)on the resilience of nurses in public hospital, and provide evidence for improving the nursing resilience through the human resource management policies. Methods A total of 329 nurses from six public hospitals in Henan Province were selected, and a questionnaire survey was conducted using the D-HRMPs scale and employee resilience scale. Results The average score of D-HRMPs scale was(3.63±0.91)and the average employee resilience score was(3.86±0.65).There was a significant positive correlation between the developmental human resource management practices and employee resilience(r = 0.322,P<0.01).Hierarchical stepwise regression indicated that the level of hospital and D-HRMPs were the final predictors of nursing resilience, with hospital level having a certain positive predictive effect on nursing resilience, and developmental human resource management practices significantly predicting nursing resilience. Conclusions Hospital nursing management department need to establish a good professional development platform,a diversified training system, and a improved performance evaluation and feedback mechanism to enhance nursing resilience and improve work performance.
