Abstract:Objective To develop a perinatal venous thromboembolism(VTE)risk assessment scale suitable for Chinese pregnant women, and to test its reliability and validity,so as to provide a tool for clinical assessment. Methods The Caprini Risk Assessment Model and the guideline for VTE proposed by the Royal Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2015 were used as reference.Supplemented by relevant literature retrieval and combined with the actual clinical work needs and group discussion, the scale items were screened. Finally, the scale items were revised and supplemented through expert consultation, and the Perinatal VTE Risk Assessment Scale for Chinese pregnant women was developed.A total of 124 pregnant women diagnosed with perinatal VTE in Donghai County People's Hospital of Lianyungang and Lianyungang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected by convenient sampling method, and the reliability and validity of the scale were tested. Results Five common factors were extracted, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 51.304%.The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that χ2/df=1.511,RMSEA= 0.029,CFI=0.943,TLI=0.942,and the fitness was good. Finally,it was compiled into a scale with 5 dimensions and 27 items, including maternal personal information, medical history,pregnancy-related diseases history, pregnancy and delivery-related information, and maternal post-delivery related diseases information. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.841,the split-half reliability was 0.864,the content validity index was 0.952,and the item content validity index was 0.814-1.000.Conclusions The Perinatal VTE Risk Assessment Scale for Chinese Pregnant Women has good reliability and validity, which can be used to assess the risk of VTE among Chinese pregnant women.
