Abstract:Quantitative MRI can detect early involvement of the synovium, cartilage, and bone in juvenile idiopathic arthritis(JIA)and further investigate its underlying pathophysiological processes, compared to conventional imaging examinations.Current quantitative MRI techniques include dynamic contrast-enhanced(DCE)-MRI,diffusion-weighted imaging(DWI),T2 mapping,T1ρ mapping and other data acquisition methods, which can provide preliminary evidence for early diagnosis, treatment planning, and evaluation of therapeutic response in JIA.This article reviews the advances in the application of quantitative MRI in JIA.
