Non-fused crossed renal ectopia associated with clear cell renal carcinoma and arteriovenous fistula:a case report
Abstract:Case: A 58-year-old female patient was admitted to the hospital due to 'headache for 1 year, accompanied by dizziness and nausea for 3 days'. Routine examination upon admission suggested crossed renal ectopia (CRE) with a mass. Urine turbidity and white blood cell count were increased, while other urinary routine and liver and kidney function indicators showed no abnormalities. Abdominal enhanced CT showed that the left kidney was ectopically located below the right kidney, with the renal hilum facing the right anterior direction, and the ureter opening into the left side of the bladder; the left renal artery originated from the left common iliac artery, and venous return flowed into the inferior vena cava; the left kidney had an irregular shape, with a soft tissue mass inside, lobulated, with unclear boundaries, approximately 6.0 cm × 4.3 cm in size, with relatively uniform density.
