Research progress on the application of novel nanomaterials in the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis

Abstract：Precise diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis(AS)are crucial for improving patient survival rate.Currently,nanomaterials that integrate targeting,tracing,and therapeutic functions can provide more detailed imaging informations,enable precise targeting and localized treatment,enhance therapeutic efficacy,and reduce the systemic side effects of treatment.These nanomaterials shows great potential for the diagnosis and treatment of AS.This review summarizes the research progress on the application of integrated nanomaterials in different pathological stages of AS.
