Abstract:Neoadjuvant therapy is the standard treatment for locally advanced resectable esophageal cancer.Accurate evaluation of neoadjuvant therapy efficacy and identification of the subpopulation most likely to benefit are key to achieving personalized treatment and maximizing patient outcomes.Imaging modalities such as CT,MRI,and positron emission tomography(PET)are the primary tools for assessing the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy.Additionally, radiomics has demonstrated promising performance in this area. This review summarizes the research progress on imaging modalities and radiomics in evaluating the efficacy of neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced resectable esophageal cancer.
