Abstract:Psoriatic arthritis(PsA)is a chronic inflammatory musculoskeletal disease.Currently, early diagnosis is challenging due to the lack of specific and highly sensitive laboratory markers.Musculoskeletal ultrasound can be used to not only evaluate active inflammatory lesions, such as enthesitis, synovitis, tenosynovitis, and peritonitis, but also to identify structural and irreversible lesions, such as bone erosion and bone hyperplasia. This article aims to review the application of ultrasound in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, prognosis assessment, and monitoring of therapeutic efficacy in PSA.
