Abstract:Radiology plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury(TBI),enabling the identification of brain injury types and assessment of injury severity. In clinical practice,CT and MRI are routinely used for diagnosing and evaluating TBI.In recent years, artificial intelligence(AI)has gradually been integrated into imaging for the clinical management of TBI,including the identification cranial anatomical structures, extraction of imaging features, segmentation and quantification of injury areas, prognosis assessment, and decision-making support. This article reviews the progress of AI algorithms and their clinical applications in TBI patients.
