Abstract:Objective To analyze and summarize the imaging manifestations of isolated left innominate vein aneurysms in order to improve the understanding of this disease. Methods The clinical manifestations and imaging features of two cases of isolated left innominate vein aneurysm were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results The lesions in both patients were located in the upper mediastinum, with no compression changes in adjacent tissue structures and no corresponding clinical symptoms.During the CT plain scan, the density of the lesion and vascular were similar and adjacent to the left innominate vein. There was no significant enhancement in the arterial phase of contrast agent injection through the right anterior elbow vein. While contrast agent filling was visible in the arterial phase of contrast agent injection through the left anterior elbow vein, during the delayed phase, the density of the lesions in 2 cases were consistent with the innominate vein. Conclusion The imaging manifestations of innominate vein aneurysm have certain specificity. The enhancement of arterial phase is related to the location of contrast agent injection, the enhancement of delayed phase is consistent with innominate vein, and the lesions communicate with adjacent innominate vein.
