Research status on pelvic geometric configuration characteristics of female pelvic floor dysfunction

Abstract：Anatomical anomalies of the pelvis are responsible for the development of pelvic floor dysfunction(PFD),and there is a link between PFD and geometrical configuration of pelvis.CT,MRI,and other imaging methods can visually display the shape of the pelvis and accurately evaluate the geometric configuration of the pelvis.This article reviews the pelvic geometric imaging characteristics including transverse pelvic diameter,anteroposterior pelvic diameter,sacrococcygeal morphology,pubic arch angle,and pelvic area in patients with PFD.
