Abstract:Neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus(NPSLE)refers to systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) involving the nervous system and causing varied neuropsychiatric symptoms, and NPSLE is one of the leading causes of death in SLE. Early diagnosis and treatment of neuropsychiatric lupus are of great significance for the prognosis of patients. Diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)and diffusion kurtosis imaging(DKI)enable visualization of early brain damage in NPSLE patients, the changes of characteristic parameters of DKI and DTI can reflect the pathological process of NPSLE,which have the value of judging the activity of disease and prognosis.Recent advances in DTI and DKI in NPSLE were reviewed.
