FFRCT:A gatekeeper for invasive coronary angiography
ZHANG Zhang
Abstract:Recently,CT-derived fractional flow reserve(FFRCT)has become one of the most hot topics in noninvasive cardiac imaging studies.Series of multi-center research registries supported that FFRCTis a"gatekeeper"prior to invasive coronary angiography(ICA).It will help us to utilize this new tool optimally and rationality in both scientific researches and clinical practices,if we could have a comprehensive understanding of the generation and development of FFRCT,especially its scopes of the application, advantages, and limitations. In this article we reviewed the concept, development and research progress of FFRCT.
