Abstract:Cervical cancer is a common tumor in the female reproductive system. Traditional magnetic resonance imaging displays the morphological changes of cervical cancer in a noninvasive way, but there are still some limitations. Functional magnetic resonance imaging as a supplement to traditional MR technology has more and more advantages in the evaluation of cervical cancer. It can provide comprehensive information for pathological classification, grading, peripheral tis-sue involvement, lymph node metastasis, treatment and prognosis. The research progresses of functional magnetic resonance imaging such as diffusion-weighted imaging, dynamic enhanced MR imaging,MR spectroscopy and blood oxygen level de-pendent MR imaging in cervical cancer were reviewed.
