Abstract:Fetal genitourinary system malformations are common, MRI can be used to evaluate genitourinary malfor-mations and their associated deformities. Steady-state free precession (SSFP), single-shot fast spin echo (SSFSE), fast T 1WI, and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) are usually used in MRI to evaluate the fetal genitourinary system. In this paper, we reviewed the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging in evaluating fetal renal deformities, obstructive urinary tract disease, and deformities of genital system, as well as the MRI characteristics of the fetal abnormalities.
