The research progress of multislice CT in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with lung cancer

Abstract:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disease characterized by a persis-tent airflow limitation, that can be prevented and treated. Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors which in-fluences and harms to people's health, also is one important complication of COPD. More than half of lung cancer patients combined with COPD, and COPD is considered to be one of the important risk factors of lung cancer. Multislice CT is an im-portant diagnostic tool for COPD and lung cancer. It plays an increasingly important role in the study of correlation between COPD and lung cancer, and the evaluation of pulmonary function. In this paper, the progress of multi-slice CT in COPD combined with lung cancer was reviewed.
