Progress of multi-slice CT in the evaluation of pulmonary hypertension

Abstract：Imaging plays a central role in the diagnosis and management of all forms of pulmonary hypertension (PH).Multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) as a noninvasive method has high time and space resolution,can be used not only for accurate assessment of pulmonary arteries and cardiac anatomy and function with a variety of quantitative and qualitative indexes,but also for evaluation of parenchymal change.It facilitates to detect PH,estimate its prognosis and monitor the therapeutic effects.
