Abstract:High-grade gliomas (HGG) has a high incidence and poor prognosis, but some patient present relative good prognosis. Accurately evaluating the prognosis of HGG post-treatment is beneficial to adjustment of treatment plan early and effectively, termination of ineffective treatment, reduction of toxic and side effects, continuation of effective treat-ment, and improvement of prognosis. In recent years, signal change in surgical cavity on FLAIR sequence, enhancement on enhanced T1WI, and histogram dependent parameters on DWI have made much progress in assessing the prognosis after HGG treatment. In this article, we reviewed morphology MRI and DWI new technologies in evaluating prognosis of post-treated HGG.
