Abstract:Thymic epithelial tumors (TET) are relatively commonly detected in daily work, especially since the launching of low-dose lung cancer screening. Biological behavior and histological types of TET are complex. Different types have different invasivities, and have differences in treatment strategy and predicting the clinical course and prognosis. Therefore, predicting invasivity of TET accurately, even pathological type, has an important clinical significance. TET can be easily detected with various imaging examinations, each imaging techinque has its own advantages. This review focuses on the different diagnosis values, especially on the latest progress of imaging TET.
