Abstract:Fractional flow reserve derived from coronary computed tomography angiography (CT-FFR) is a noninvasive method for evaluation of coronary atherosclerotic artery disease (CAD). It integrates the advantages of coronary conputed tomography angiography (CCTA) and fractional flow reserve (FFR), and provides both anatomical and functional information of coronary artery. CT-FFR not only can assesse the degree of anatomical coronary artery stenosis, but also can determine whether presence of ischemia and the severity of ischemia. In this review we summarized the advantages and efficacy of CT-FFR and its clinical application.
