The research progress of magnetic resonance spectroscopy in evaluation of ovarian tumors
LIU Dong
Abstract:Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), a noninvasive imaging technique, can quantitatively analyze the metabolites concentrations and compounds changes in the biochemistry and physiology of tumors in vivo. At present, with the development of functional magnetic resonance, MRS is being increasingly applied in ovarian tumor assessment to provide useful information for diagnose, evaluation of therapeutic effect and estimating prognosis. MRS has become an important supplementary means of MR examination. The purpose of this article was to review the research progress and clinical application of MRS on ovarian tumors in the recent years.
