Clinical application and research trend of low dose CT technology in the abdominal scan

Abstract：How to minimize the radiation dose on the premise of ensuring the image quality for clinical diagnosis has become a hot research topic for radiologists and clinicians. Currently, selecting the appropriate scanning range, reducing unnecessary scanning phases and adjusting basic parameters are effective ways commonly used in clinic to reduce the radiation dose of CT. While the combination of iterative algorithm and the personalized and multi-parameter regulation based on body shape and body mass index has become a novel direction of research in the field of abdominal low dose CT technology. In this article we reviewed briefly the clinical application and development trend of low dose CT techniques in the abdominal scan.
