Abstract:Molecular magnetic resonance imaging (mMRI) has been the research focus of molecular imaging, which realizes the change from traditional and nonspecific physical imaging to targeted molecular imaging. By introduction of corresponding molecular probes, and acquiring information of both the anatomical and biological information of the targeted object, mMRI provides a kind of new research method for fundamental research, earlier diagnosis and treatment of disease. In this review, we aimed to detail the features and recent progress of magnetic molecular probes and review the latest mMRI technology and development, in order to provide useful reference for basic and clinical research.
