Abstract：After radiation therapy or combination therapy, local tumor recurrence appears frequently.However, only few patients are suitable for partial re-radiotheraphy, becasue it may cause potentially serious complications, especially in large volume tumor re-radiotheraphy. With stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT), we can improve local control rate, relieve symptoms and reduce normal tissues adverse reaction for recurrence of vertebral metastases, head and neck tumors, and pelvic tumors. SBRT is a safe and effective treatment, and is recommended as an important control local symptoms treatment.
