Abstract:Arterial spin labeling (ASL ) MRI is capable of noninvasively measuring blood flow by tagging the protons in arterial blood. It can provide hemodynamic information, and has been applied in clinical treatment and research. The clinical studies of renal ASL MRI are continuously increasing, most of them focus on the renal artery stenosis, the acute kidney injury, solid renal masses and the transplanted renal. This review summarized the basic principle of kidney ASL MRI and the study progress in the diagnosis of kidney diseases.
