Status and progress of MRI in endometrial cancer

Abstract:Endometrial carcinoma is one of the most common gynecologic malignancies. Its incidence is continuously increasing in recent years. It is a serious threat to women's health. Treatment and prognosis are influenced by accurate preoperative staging as well as by histological subtype and grade. This article summarized the strengths and weaknesses of imaging examination, hysteroscopy, and endometrial biopsy in the diagnosis of endometrial cancer and staging. We emphasized on the status of the application and research progress of magnetic resonance imaging and functional imaging in endometrial cancer.
