Advances of low-dose multi-slice spiral CT colonography in colorectal diseases

Abstract：Low-dose multi-slice spiral CT colonography plays an important role in the early inspection of colorectal diseases. Compared with traditional CT colonography, traditional colonoscopy, fecal occult blood test and double contrast bari-um enema examination, low-dose multi-slice spiral CT colonography has advantages in low radiation, simple operation, well compliance and higher disease detection rates, accuracy and sensitivity. Low-dose multi-slice spiral CT colonography can also increase the detection rates of early colorectal tumors, so as to prolong the survival period, improve the quality of life. It has a high application value in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal tumors.
