Abstract:Liver fibrosis is the common process of liver cirrhosis in various chronic liver diseases . This process is latent and gradual, and is reversible in the early-stage . Early quantitative diagnosis of liver fibrosis is of great significance for the evaluation of treatment response and prognosis, and the promotion of inversion. With the development of functional magnetic resonance imaging, especially the diffusion weighted imaging and diffusion tensor imaging, noninvasive quantitative diagnosis of liver fibrosis has progressed greatly. We reviewed the progress in quantitatively diagnosing and staging liver fibrosis with diffusion tensor imaging.
