Abstract:Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) is an invasive malignant tumor with high mortality rates. Thin-section multidetector computed tomography has been accepted as the most effective radiological technique for preoperative staging. A standardized radiological reporting template could provide a complete, accurate and standardized preoperative staging report. Thus, it will either facilitate the achievement of an optimal therapeutic strategy of PDA, or the designation, implementation and results comparison of clinical trials. We interpreted the concensus about PDA radiological template standardization from the Society of Abdominal Radiology and the American Pancreatic Association from a radiological perspective.
