Research Progress of Application in Thromboelastography with Obstetrics
LEI Ting
Abstract:Thromboelastography can reflect thrombosis and degradation of the whole coagulation process. To a certain extent, it can make up for the deficiency traditional coagulation laboratory tests. The study of the variation of TEG in normal pregnant women can partly reveal the specific characteristics of coagulation status during pregnancy and postpartum period, however there are some differences in the results of different studies. Compared to the traditional blood clotting laboratory tests, TEG is more sensitive and effective in the detection and management of obstetric bleeding, while summing up the specific parameters of TEG and the corresponding treatment measures are conductive to the precise management of postpartum hemorrhage cases. In pathologic obstetrics, such as fibrinogen abnormalities, TEG can accurately monitor the specific coagulation function and also have a good performance in predicting the associated risk.
