Abstract:In recent years, the incidence of cervical cancer is significantly higher than before, and the age of onset is younger. Though the improvement of those treatments such as surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy and so on has prolonged survival of patients and enhanced their quality of life, the treatment for advanced and recurrent cervical cancer in clinical is still very difficult. Researchers have also been exploring new therapies for cervical cancer. With the development of molecular biology and genomics, the research of targeted therapy has made breakthrough progress. Targeted therapy is that some therapeutic drugs were designed corresponding to their clear cancer sites on cell and molecular level. These drugs can induce tumor cells to death by binding the specific sites and improve therapeutic effects and decrease side effects finally. We make an overview on the cervical cancer targeted therapy from the following aspects:anti-angionesis therapy, epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors, poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors, and immune checkpoint inhibitors, which will provide reference for the biological treatment of cervical cancer.
