Application of Vaginal Endoscopy in Young Girl for Diagnosis of Vaginal Drainage and Bleeding:42 Cases Report

Abstract:Objective:To discuss the valuable of vaginoscopy in clinical application about pediatric vaginal drainage and bleeding. Methods:From December 2013 to March 2015 there were 42 cases of pediatric vaginal drainage and bleeding checked and treated by vaginal endoscopy. Results:21 cases vaginal drainage, by vaginal endoscopy, included 9 cases were found vaginal foreign body, 5 cases were normal, 3 cases have vaginal polyps, 4 cases were vaginitis. 17 cases were vaginal bleeding by vaginal endoscopy, 13 cases were found vaginal foreign body, a cases was normal (once diagnosed peripheral precocious puberty), 2 cases of vaginal vegetations (1 case in embryo sinus tumor, 1 case of mullerian duct papilloma), a case of vaginitis. And 4 cases of infant, their families demanded to check vaginal because they doubted their baby′s vaginal have foreign body, transvaginal endoscopic examination found no abnormalities. All of them corresponding symptomatic treatment, and removal of vaginal foreign body, resection polyps and vaginal vegetations, to treat vaginitis by medication. No abnormalities no processing. Conclusions:Vaginal endoscopy helps to clear diagnosis and treatment of female vagina drainage and bleeding.
