Study on the Resistance to Peach Aphid (Myzus persicae Sulzer) of Peach Germplasm

Abstract：The resistance to peach aphid (Mvzuspersicae) of 419 peach genetic resources,including 5 species of Amyg dalus L..were studied in the field conditions in the National Peach Repository at Zhengzhou,Henan province,34 accessions were evaluated by artificial inoculation.The results showed that the resistance of P.davidiana was the strongest one and P.kansuesis weakest one.Resistant indexes were:Drawf peach 20.00.white peach 45.70, nectarine 77.00,yellow peach 60.16 and plate peach 77.86.22 high resistant varieties or clones were identified by artifical innoculation,which included 4 types:A.daviadina,drawf peach,ornamental peach and low chill varieties.
