Abstract:Epidermis of leaf treated with 50,75,100,150 mg/L Jasmonic acid(JA) significantly promoted closing and inhibit ed opening of stomata. When pants treated by JA for 4 days, the content of leaf soluble sugar and proline were also increased, while relative electricity decreased.Lower concentration at 25 mg/L had no obvious differences compared to the control. The results indicated that JA treatment could enhance drought tolerance of young apple trees and the effect was related to the concentration used.
