Abstract:The open-pollinated embryos of early-ripening apricot Jiaojiaxing were used for studying the influence of 6-BA,IAA,GA3 and activated charcoal on embryo culture. The results indicated that: when the embryos of Jiaojiaxing were cultured on the 1/2 MS medium, with the addition of 0.5~2 mg/L 6-BA, the dormancy could be abolished, especially when the amount of 6-BA was 2 mg/L, the results were good, the percent of plant formation was 83.3%. When the embryos were cultured on the 1/2 MS medium, with the addition of 0.02% AC and 10 mg/l 6-BA,the results were better. Though the plant formation rates had no significant difference between the two treatments, the growth appearance of the latter was obviously better than the former.
