Progress and application of radiomics in the diagnosis and treatment of acute pancreatitis

Abstract：Acute pancreatitis is a common disorder of the digestive system,and its diagnosis and treatment still face numerous challenges.The emergence of radiomics signifies the deep integration of medical image processing and data analysis technologies.Leveraging high-throughput feature extraction and big data analysis techniques,radiomics unveils latent biological and pathological information,demonstrating tremendous potential in the diagnosis,staging,prognostic assessment,and therapeutic monitoring of acute pancreatitis.This review summarizes the applications and advances of radiomics in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases,encompassing its use for predicting disease severity,complications,recurrence,and extrapancreatic necrosis in acute pancreatitis.
