Research progress in diagnosis and treatment methods for the repair of dorsocervical fat pad

Abstract：The dorsocervical fat pad refers to a soft tissue hyperplastic mass dominated by adipose tissue hyperplasia,which varies in size,hardness and softness,and occurs in the depression between the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra and the spinous process of the 1st thoracic vertebra on the midline of the nape and back.With the development of plastic,aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in China,there is a growing demand for improved medical interventions to enhance the aesthetic appearance of the neck.Therefore,the diagnosis and treatment of dorsocervical fat pad(commonly known as"Fugui Bao")hold significant potential for development.This article provides a review of the diagnosis and clinical management strategies for dorsocervical fat pads.
