Research progress in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia

Abstract：Androgenetic alopecia(AGA)is a common hereditary hair loss condition,particularly prevalent among males.Despite the availability of numerous treatment options,the complexity of AGA's etiology makes its treatment challenging.This article reviews various therapeutic approaches for AGA,including surgical methods such as follicular unit transplantation and organoid grafting,as well as non-surgical treatments like pharmacotherapy,injections,laser therapy,and physical therapy.The clinical efficacy,advantages,and disadvantages of these methods are analyzed to identify efficient,cost-effective,and minimally adverse treatment solutions.
