Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of Clostridium butyricum capsules on postoperative stress reaction of laparoscopic appendectomy patients. Methods:A total of 80 patients undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy admitted to Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Leping from February 2020 to February 2023 were randomly divided into two groups with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with antibiotics for 3 days after operation, and the observation group was treated with Clostridium butyricum capsules except antibiotics. The inflammatory reaction, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery, the levels of malondialdehyde and lipid peroxide were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the first postoperative exhaust time, defecation and feeding time in the observation group were shortened(P<0.05).On the 14 days after operation, the levels of C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-α were lower than those before operation, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 14 days after operation(P<0.001).The levels of malondialdehyde and lipid peroxide 14 days after operation were lower than those before operation, and lower in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:Clostridium butyricum capsules can reduce the inflammatory response and oxidative stress in patients with laparoscopic appendectomy, and promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function.
