Clinical efficacy of comprehensive therapy for senile patients withⅢ-Ⅳ stage bedsore

Abstract:Objective: To investigate the efficacy of comprehensive therapy for senile patients withⅢ-Ⅳ stage bedsore. Methods: Comprehensive therapy was carried out and its clinical effects were observed for 63 senile patients withⅢ-Ⅳ stage bedsore from May 2013 to May 2016, including nutrition support, minimally invasive dressing, individualized nursing and repairing surgeries.Results: Complete wound healing were achieved in 22 patients, and the wound surface was reduced by more than 70% in 39 patients which making the nursing difficulty decreased obviously. Two cases died of pneumonia complicated with heart failure.Conclusions: The comprehensive therapy including nutrition support, minimally invasive dressing, individualized nursing and repairing surgeries is a better choice for senile patients withⅢ-Ⅳ stage bedsore.
