Abstract:[Objective]The spatial pattern and main influencing factors of the irrigation water use efficiency indicator system in Dalate Banner were analyzed.[Method]This research focused on 42 sample irrigation districts in Dalate Banner.Irrigation water use efficiency, canal water use efficiency and field water use efficiency were selected to to investigate the spatial differentiation characteristics of the irrigation water use efficiency indicator system and its influencing factors with the methods of spatial autocorrelation analysis,semi-variogram fitting, kriging interpolation, and GWR models.[Result]①Irrigation water use efficiency showed a predominantly positive correlation within approximately 26 km,turning negative beyond 29 km.canal system water use efficiency remained positively correlated up to about 57 km,shifting to negative around 64 km;field water use efficiency exhibited the longest range of positive correlation, extending to approximately 70.51 km.The optimal semivariogram models for irrigation water use efficiency, canal system water use efficiency, and field water use efficiency were all spherical models, with ranges of 92 km,67 km and 79 km,respectively.②The spatial distribution of all three indicators showed a pattern of low values in the west, transitional values in the central region, and high values in the central-eastern and eastern regions. The ranges for irrigation water use efficiency, canal system water use efficiency, and field water use efficiency were 27.0%-60.2%,29.1%-73.0%and 40.5%-80.4%,respectively,with average values of 44.42%,51.05%and 58.28%.③ The GWR model results indicated that the proportion of water-saving irrigation area and the engineering integrity rate of the irrigation district had positive effects on irrigation water use efficiency, with average regression coefficients of 0.925 and 0.841,respectively,which were the main driving factors for the improvement of irrigation water use efficiency. The average regression coefficients for precipitation and evaporation are 0.075 and-0.204 respectively. The influence is relatively weak, and the direction of their effects varies across different regions.[Conclusion]In 2024,the overall irrigation water use efficiency in Dalate Banner exhibited a spatial pattern of'low in the west and high in the east'.The spatial differences were mainly influenced by engineering management factors, such as the ratio of water-saving irrigation area and the engineering integrity rate of the irrigation district. The role of meteorological factors is relatively weak. The central and western irrigation areas should strengthen the maintenance and upgrading of canal systems, while the eastern irrigation areas should continue to enhance the application of water-saving irrigation measures, such as promoting efficient water-saving irrigation technologies like drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation;optimize the irrigation system by accurately determining the irrigation quota and timing based on the water requirements of crops.
