Abstract:Taking tomato as the model plant, this paper studied transport and distribution of nitrate in greenhouse soil under different drip fertigations. The combinations of three fertilizer application rates and four irrigation amounts were examined;the control was flooding irrigation. The results showed that the nitrate content in soil in-creased with the increase in irrigation and fertilizer application, and the content in top soil was higher than that in the subsoil. The nitrate distributed mainly in 0~40 cm,accounting for 82%~92% of the total nitrate in the soil. Compared with high irrigation and fertigation,saving-water and saving-fertilizer treatment reduced the accumu-lated nitrate in he whole soil profile by 36.65% and in 40~60 cm of soil by 62.18%,while compared with CK,it reduced the accumulated nitrate in 40~60 cm of soil by 53.42%. Under the experimental condition, reducing 30% of fertilizer and 50% of water is feasible and can effectively improve the utilization efficiency of nitroge-nous fertilizer and ameliorate nitrate leaching.
