Abstract:We designed the ZGKQ50-W machine equipped with deiseal pump to resolve some problems such as heavy weight, untidy operation and uncertain costs, facing irrigation equipments currently used for irrigation in drought. In this paper, we tested its performance in fuel consumption, irrigation uniformity, maximum control ar-ea, and cost for irrigating a 667 m2 of land. The results showed that the maximum flow rate of the new equipment was 20 m3/h after combining with micro-sprinkler hose. Its irrigation uniformity, when connected to Type Ⅰ hose, was less than 70%. When connected to two 30 m long Type Ⅱ hoses separated by 2 m, the irrigation uniformity was 73.30%, costing 470.9 Yuan to irrigate the 667 m2 of land. Equipping with two 83.3 m long Type Ⅲ hoses separated by 3.5 m gave an irrigation uniformity of 77.06%and running cost of 175.2 Yuan. We also tested the performance of the system when connected to two 99.3 long Type Ⅳ hoses separated by 2 m, and the irrigation uniformity and running cost were 77.40%and 320.0 Yuan respectively. In summary, combining the new system with Type Ⅲ hose was suitable for irrigating large area due to the saving in time and labor, while equipping with Type Ⅱ hose was more suitable for irrigating small scattered plots.
