Analysis of Different Infiltration Models under Conditions of Saline Water Infiltration
Abstract:For exploring the applicability of several infiltration models under the conditions of brackish water infiltration, one-dimensional vertical soil columns were used to do infiltration experiments. The results showed that, at the same infiltration time the cumulative infiltration increased with the increase of the salt content of infiltration water; furthermore there was a good linear relationship (R^2〉0.7)between the distance of wetting front and cumulative infiltration. In addition, the fitting effects of the Philip infiltration model and the Horton infiltration model were superior to the Green-Ampt model and Kostiakov formula respectively.
