Abstract:Recycled water is a valuable substitute water resource for forage irrigation. The influence of recycled water irrigation on the yield and water use efficiency (WUE) of four gramineous grasses (Agropyron cristatum L.,Festuca arundinacea,Bromus inermis Leyss,Gramineae) was studied by field experiment. Two water types (groundwater vs.recycled water) were used to irrigate grass. The result showed that no significant effect of water type on the ET.Water type had effect on the hay production,WUE and IWUE of Arthur, highest increase was found under irrigation of recycled water.
