Crop Reference Evapotranspiration and Its Correlation with the Meteorological Factors in Beijing Plain

Abstract：Crop reference evapotranspiration (ET_0) is an important factor for determining the crop water requirements.In this study,daily ET_0 was calculated using FAO56 Penman-Montieth equation based on the 50 year daily meteorological data of Beijing Plain.The characteristics of the long-term annual and monthly ET_0 were analyzed.By means of the dependence analysis of ET_0,the coefficients of correlation of ET_0.With the four main weather meteorological variables were also analyzed.According to characteristics of ET_0 and precipitation,we made the rational use of water resources in agriculture in Beijing Plain.
