Abstract:The present research work studied the relationship between the soil water repellency and water content by measuring Water Drop Penetrate Time (WDPT) using a sand soil collected from the Kibbutz Berry,Israel.A normal distribution was found for expressing the relationship between the water repellency and water content statistically.Three mathematic models, namely normal, exponential and lognormal distributions were used for fitting the models by regression analyses. The exponential distribution was found to be the best one for the practical use, which was confirmed by comparing the measured data and predicted data (R~2=0.89).
