Abstract:Use of an evapotranspiration landfill was studied, considering vegetation structures, soil textile, and soil cover thickness. Results of four experiments showed that the transpiration process played an im-portance role in controlling water balance in the ET cover system. The evaporation in the bare soil was 65% as that of evapotranspiration amount. In a 40 cm soil profile, Plant growth is a coating of water bal-ance and seepage control of the key factors Lek. Role in the strong evapotranspiration in summer and au-tumn, seepage control effect is obvious, but in the winter, only rely on the ability to control water cover deep percolation Lek, to cover a larger thickness is needed.
