Salt Distribution and Effect Factors in Under-Film Drip Irrigation
Abstract:The effects of under-film drip irrigation operation parameters, such as discharge rate, water application per irrigation, on soil salt movement and distribution are investigated with a lab experiment. Results show that salt distribution in soil can be divided into three zones: desalted zone, partly desalted zone and salt accumulation zone. High discharge rate, high initial soil moisture content and initial soil salt content will hinder formation of complete desalted zone, but increasing water application per irrigation is benefit for formatting desalted zone.
