Abstract：A experiment was carried out in Zhanghe Irrigation Experiment Station. Hubei province to investigate the effects of several water and nitrogen management patterns on eco-physiological conditions, yield, water use efficiency and nitrogen use efficiency in paddy rice. Based on experimental results, an optimum patterns water and nitrogen management for high yield, water saving, high nitrogen and water use efficiency is presented in this paper.
