Effects of irrigation method on growth, development and activity of tomato roots

Abstract：Compared with furrow irrigation, seepage irrigation and drip irrigation are useful to pro-mote growth and development of tomato roots under plastic tunnel cultivation. Ratios of fresh root/shoot are greater and root activities are higher under seepage irrigation and drip irrigation than thoseunder furrow irrigation.
